Let's take a dive into the madness that was AEW's Full Gear PPV. It was a really good show with some pretty awesome moments. They're doing a pretty great job of establishing new stars in shows that feel balanced. There's something for everyone, whether you like classic, old school matches, flippy exhibitions of athletics, or hardcore brawls. Here are the results:
- Dr. Britt Baker vs. Bea Priestly (The Buy-In pre-show) - Winner: Britt Baker
- The Young Bucks vs. Santana & Ortiz - Winner: Santana & Ortiz
- Adam "Hangman" Page vs. PAC - Winner: Adam "Hangman" Page
- Joey Janela vs. Shawn Spears - Winner: Shawn Spears
- AEW Tag Tag Team Championship: SCU (c) vs. The Lucha Bros vs. Private Party - Winner: SCU
- AEW Women's Championship: Riho (c) vs. Emi Sakura - Winner: Riho
- AEW World Championship:Chris Jericho (c) vs. Cody - Winner: Chris Jericho
- Jon Moxley vs. Kenny Omega (Unsanctioned Lights Out match) - Winner: Jon Moxley
The core highlight of the night has to be the unsanctioned hardcore match between Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega. Obviously, you know by now that Mox won the match, but you have to check it out regardless. It was absolutely nuts, with moments that have the online wrestling community debating what a match like this should include. Where do you stand on hardcore matches? Where do you think the line is? Some people are saying this one was overly long and even gross at times, but others are saying that the match told an intense and bombastic story. Personally, I'm with the latter crew. I thought it was shocking, but also compelling. Check out some tweets, reactions, and videos below:
