New Research in the Fight Against Cancer

My mum had breast cancer a few years back and beat it! So this new research coming out of England really interests me.

It's a new immunotherapy trial that's shown for the first time how life can be extended in people with triple-negative breast cancer for up to 10 extra months. Who knows how much longer it could become with more research.

This new research led by the Queen Mary University of London and St Bartholomew's Hospital has shown that by combining immunotherapy and  the body's own immune system can be prompted to attack itself.

My Australian friend who happens to be a cancer nurse, even told me they're beginning to use this in Australia to treat lung and ovarian cancers with great success.

Isn't modern medicine amazing!
