What Are You Willing To Pay To Stay Connected?

So I desperately need to get a new phone and in my research, I kind of fell down the internet rabbit hole as you do haha and I came across some alarming information about the cost of staying connected in this day and age. According to the New York Post, some number-crunchers figured out the true cost of owning a smartphone over your lifetime. The amount of money spent on replacing your phone throughout your lifetime, the cost of wireless service and the cost of apps apparently brings you to just over $75,000.

Is it bad that even though this number is astounding, it's still not going to stop me from getting the newest Samsung or Google Pixel?
