AI Is Taking Over

AI fascinates and kind of scares me but I'm always interested in what progress is being made in the field.

A new study in the journal of Nature Medicine has shown that facial recognition AI is outperforming clinicians. The study is focused on diagnosing patients with hereditary diseases. According to the results derived by technology named DeepGestalt, three separate trials proved that the AI was able to identify the illness more accurately than the human clinician. This development could add significant value in personalized care.

These types of things get me excited because we could save lives and improve the quality of life for so many. But let's hope it doesn't grow a mind of its own and take over the world right?
