I'm one of those weird people that LOVE lettuce I'm a salad fiend! I have been ever since my mother introduced me to the food as a kid. Her and I would go out to our favourite cafe and always get the same Greek salad. Therefore, I must say that I'm particularly happy that the romaine lettuce E. coli outbreak is officially over.
After 62 people got sick from romaine lettuce last year and the CDC warned Americans not to eat it, federal health officials have finally given the thumbs up. No one has been sick since December and the CDC says all potentially affected lettuce is now off the shelves.
Now you officially don't have an excuse to avoid your vegetables anymore my friend, SORRY! (Fox News)
