Did you hear about the couple who lost their car to the high tide while they were moon-gazing!?
Earlier in the week, we experienced the rare super blood wolf moon. A couple parked their SUV on the beach to enjoy a night of moon-gazing and unfortunately were so distracted by the moon that they forgot that the moon controls the tides.
While sitting in their SUV they realized the tide had risen really high, so high, in fact, they needed to evacuate their vehicle! They made it back to dry land just fine and the car was towed out of the ocean but I just wonder if moon-gazing was all they were doing in that car to be so distracted. 😉 (WJXT-TV)
