What Is Galentine's Day?

What is Galentine's Day? It's a day to celebrate the gals in your life and shower them with love and gifts. It originated on the TV show Parks and Recreation We did a White Elephant style gift swap at Shooters Waterfront and it was so much fun!

Galentine's Day is usually celebrated on Feb. 13, the day before Valentine's day. It's a day to leave husbands, boyfriends and significant others at home to gather with other women and celebrate female friendships — usually over a boozy-filled brunch.

So if this sounds good to you, organize one with your girlfriends, there's still time!
