David Gilmour has released his first new song in five years called "Yes, I Have Ghosts". The song also features vocals and harp by Gilmour's own daughter, Romany.
I feel like a lot of artists don't write songs like this anymore, where they're based on a novel or a play or another piece of literature. "Yes, I Have Ghosts" is based on the novel A Theater for Dreamers, based on a "expat bohemian community of poets, painters and musicians, including a 25-year-old Leonard Cohen", according to Ultimate Guitar.
I think Glimour is a genius and a rare kind of artist.
