3-D Printed Steak Is Now A Thing

3-D printed steak or "Alt-Steak"... that seems to be the way technology is going. Plant based blood, fat and muscle are the three components to this creation that will be served in high end restaurants by 2021.

An Israel-based startup — aptly named Redefine Meat — is hyping high-tech printers that produce plant-based steaks that look eerily like real beef. Check out the video and see how real it looks when cooked!

They say that the machines will be able to print about 44 pounds per hour to start, and eventually hundreds, at a lower cost than real meat.

So now presents the question, if you're on a strict budget and the plant based meat tastes very similar to the real thing and it's also much cheaper, would you select it at the store?
