Key West was my studio last week and boy was it a lovely change of scenery from my living room! I was there as a result of the Hilton Clean Stay program. The Casa Marina and The Reach, both Hilton hotels in Key West have a safe and clean stay set up for you to enjoy while the world is in such a crazy state right now. I broadcast from The Casa Marina on Friday and afterwards we checked out the Pilar Rum Distillery and went on a Sunset Cruise!
At the Papa's Pilar distillery we all wore masks in a small, private group to tour the facility, and to check out my Mojito making experience while I was there, hit up our Instagram page Big1059FM. After all of that touring and drinking ... naturally we needed another drink. This time the Gulf of Mexico was our preference. We boarded on a beautiful sunset cruise with Sebago Watersports and enjoyed another refreshment with the wind in our hair.
At the end of our tour we went back to the hotel room that we knew had been thoroughly disinfected. The next day we went on a jet ski tour! We followed our tour guide through the Atlantic and the Gulf and splashed up a storm! I only came off twice 🤦♀️
During the pandemic people have just been getting in the car and driving to get out of the house and let me tell you this is one of the most beautiful drives I've done. Getting to Casa Marina or The Keys is part of the fun!
