An Australian couple where surfing in Shelly Beach at Port Macquarie when the woman was was knocked off her surf board by a great white shark. The three meter juvenile shark latched onto her leg and wouldn't let go. Her husband was only two meters away and quickly swam to her aid, punching the predator in the eyes and nose until it let go. The woman paddled all the way to shore and was assisted by helpful bystanders. She has pretty bad lacerations on her leg but is expected to recover soon.
