According to CNN, the submissions received more than 20,000 votes and 50,000 reactions on social media. On October 27, Jaxson was crowned the winner of the 2020 Kids Mullet Championships contest, according to a USA Mullet Championships.
"The contest has blown up with over 20,000 votes from all over the country," USA Mullet Championships president Kevin Begola said in a statement. "During these tough times it's important to have fun. This is exactly what 2020 needed!"
Kids Mullet Championships are taking applications for their 2021 Championships.
