Motorcycle riding can be dangerous considering you don't have all the same material surrounding you when you're in a vehicle, especially the availability of airbags. Now a company has created airbags for motorcycle riders, how? In their clothing. The airbag offers impact reducing protection while the denim is stronger than steel, due to the UHMWPE fibres used in the airbag jeans. The fibre was first invented to be used in space and has now become available as denim for our motorcycle airbag jeans.
We are using the fiber to offer the best abrasion-resistant properties available on the motorcycle market. The fiber outperforms Aramid fibers (such used in Kevlar) in abrasions tests and the UHMWPE is 14X stronger than steel while it is 8X lighter than steel (less dense).
