Kevin Bacon has admitted that the director of footloose gave him drugs on set!
He was filming the 1984 hit “Footloose” when his nerves almost got the better of him. He recently spoke to Kelly Clarkson on her day time talk show about the movie and what went down.
The actor said he was so tense about performing the scene in which he pleads to the town council to allow dancing that he broke out in hives.
He said it was so uncomfortable that he couldn't concentrate.
“The director said to me, ’You’re just nervous. Here, I’m gonna give you half a Valium.′ So, he gave me drugs and I calmed down and played the scene and the hives went away.”
