Space Tourism - Explained

Space Tourism is now the name for what billionaires such as Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos and Richard Branson are doing in regards to innovation in space travel.

These men are opening up the idea that regular people like you and I could have the opportunity, if the price is right, to get on board a spacecraft and go into outer space.

Up until now this kind of travel has been reserved for extremely educated, specific people in this field. But soon, it could be open to everyone.

Jeff Bezos and Richard Branson seem to have been in a "space standoff," with both wealthy moguls trying to get to outer space first. Jeff wants to take his brother to space with him later this month, while Richard has plans to take off this Sunday!

I, for one, am super excited that this is the way space travel is going, NASA even saying they will open up opportunities for this kind of thing soon.

Check out this video by CNBC explaining a bit more about the three billionaires and their companies.

Yep, we've fallen down the rabbit hole! Here is a bit more about the history of space tourism.
