Shapewear is something I have never gotten into but because of this story, I may just look into it! The founder of the shapewear brand Spanx just sold her majority stake in the company to a big investment firm. And she celebrated by sharing the love with her 500 employees. There's a video of her announcing that she's giving each of them two first-class plane tickets to ANYWHERE in the world . . . plus $10,000 in spending cash. I remember the one time I got a gift from my boss back in Australia, it was a bottle of Veuve Clicquot and I was beside myself with gratitude. I couldn't imagine how the Spanx staff must have felt when they realized they were about to be $10,000 richer.
