It can be hard to find some time to relax these days! If you could take a staycation, where would you go?
I have to say, my boyfriend and I went to St Augustine not too long ago and we loved it!
We visited the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument and I highly recommend going there for a day, there is so much to see and do that I would recommend setting aside some time for this. There is so much history explained and pretty grounds to walk through as well as views! Hot tip; wear walking shoes!
We also did a ghost tour, saw the Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park, found a little cottage that did massages, did the Wax Museum and visited a bunch of beautiful restaurants, cafes and stores! We even made friends with other couples staying at the place we did, The Collector. This was a beautiful place to stay within walking distance from everything you want to visit. They even offer bikes to explore around the town.
We didn't go to the beach even once as there was just so much to do in town.
That's the only staycation we have done, besides the keys and one night in Miami, but that's a story for another time. Where would you recommend for a staycation in Florida?!
