Are Americans Getting Enough Vacation Time?

How many vacation days did you take last year? regardless, it was likely far less than the rest of the world.

I can personally vouch for this because we get roughly 4 weeks of vacation in Australia and often time you can let days roll over to the next year if not used, even sick days! Here, in the US we are expected to work all year round with very few days off in most professions.

According to Expedia's annual Vacation Deprivation study, the average American took less than 12 vacation days last year.

· That’s six fewer than the global average last year.

· 59% of Americans admit to feeling vacation deprived.

· Most working adults insist they plan to take an average of 14 days off this year.

And according to travel.usnews.com - the Grand canyon is at the top of the list of best places to travel right now, Yosemite, Yellowstone and the Maui also top the list!

I also really like this guy, Ryan Shirley's YouTube video on his favorite places in the U.S.

So, now that we're done daydreaming, where will you plan to vacation to next?
