Foo Fighters Drummer - Taylor Hawkins - Info & Toxicology Report

Tragic news has surfaced over the weekend for the rock music world.

Fans and fellow musicians are mourning the sudden, devastating loss of Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. News of the rock star's death sent shockwaves around the globe.

“The Foo Fighters family is devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of our beloved Taylor Hawkins. His musical spirit and infectious laughter will live on with all of us forever,” the band said in a statement.

Hawkins died Friday in Bogota, Colombia. The band was there to perform at the Festival Estereo Picnic only hours after he was found. A toxicology test was done and on March 26, the Colombian Attorney General's office released the preliminary results of a urine toxicology test revealing that the 50-year-old had 10 different substances in his body, including marijuana, opioids, tricyclic antidepressants and benzodiazepines.

He is survived by his family, his wife Alison Hawkins and two children Oliver Shane Hawkins and Annabelle Hawkins.

Dave Grohl has now endured the death of a second band mate after Kurt Cobain died by suicide.

It is just so sad for of course Taylor's family but for his band family too as Taylor was Dave's best friend.

Our thoughts are with his friends and family at this time where the music world has lost another great.
