Have you heard about Elon Musk's new creation? It's a smartphone!
Tesla, the world’s biggest electric vehicle maker, is reportedly working on a futuristic smartphone, potentially named Model Pi.
Although we don't know too much about this new phone industry insiders expect the company to launch its first smartphone late next year or in early 2024.
What we do know is this:
- The phone is expected to come with an inbuilt functionality to gain access to Starlink, allowing users to surf the web without relying on Earth-bound telecoms networks.
- The new phone will be better integrated with Tesla’s cars, giving them more controls through the tap of a button.
- It will also reportedly let users perform various vehicular functions such as locking, unlocking and controlling temperature, media and various other features through the phone.
- Tesla’s new phone could also support Neuralink — the technology that could let users control devices with their thoughts.
What Musk won't be making is a smartwatch. The Tesla CEO said “Smartwatches and phones are yesterday’s technology. Neuralinks are the future,”
The company said this technology will enable people who do not have full use of their limbs to use smartphones even faster than someone using their fingers.
This stuff all seems way too good to be true but that is what Elon seems to be best at! I can't wait to see how this all unfolds. This man is single-handedly pushing America and the world into the future!
