This Is Where You Get Sandbags For This Tropical Storm

BROWARD COUNTY:

Pembroke Pines

If you're a resident you can get sandbags until 4 p.m at Howard C. Forman Health Park and William B. Armstrong Dream Park. You'll need to come prepared with a Pembroke Pines driver’s license or a bill with a Pembroke Pines address. The limit is six sandbags per vehicle.

Lauderhill

It's a first-come, first-served basis at Veterans Park, located at 7600 NW 50 St., and Wolk Park, at 1080 NW 42 Way. Proof of Lauderhill residency is required. Sandbags are available until 4 p.m. or until supplies last.

Fort Lauderdale

Residents can grab sandbags at Mills Pond Park, on 2201 NW 9th Ave until 12 p.m. You can get 10 bags per car. You must show proof that you live in Fort Lauderdale.

The City of Pompano Beach

You can get sandbags here at 1660 NE 10th Street. It's first-come, first-served and while supplies last. You get a max of 10 bags per household. Bring proof of residency.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY:

Get sandbags until 7:30 p.m today at Grapeland Park which is at 1550 NW 37th Ave, Miami FL 33125 and Little Haiti Soccer Park at 315 NE 62 Street, Miami, FL 33138

Village of Key Biscayne

You can grab them at Beach Park, 650 Ocean Drive.

City of Sunny Isles Beach

Sandbags at this location are available until 12 p.m. under the William Lehman Causeway, 19160 Collins Avenue. Bring a valid, Sunny Isles Beach ID Card. The limit here is six sandbags per household.
