You've probably heard of Casablanca Cafe on Fort Lauderdale Beach, but have you ever been there?
This place is the ultimate romantic date night spot, inside an old beachside home built in the 1920s, perched alongside the beach the views are next to none.
The manager, Greg, told me that the chefs have an old cookbook out the back that they still make some of the recipes from and it hasn't changed since they opened. @annie.stranger who saw this post on my Instagram said they Key Lime Pie Martinis are really good! I had wine and a lamb shank which just fell off the bone. But their scallops are the best dish on the menu according to my boyfriend.
Next time I come here, I'll be going for a morning walk and stop in for some eggs now that they do breakfast too!
