We Might Finally Know Where Amelia Earhart’s Plane Crashed

We may be a step closer to finding Amelia Earhart’s crash final landing site. 

In 1991 an aluminium panel was found on an island north of Samoa that some believe came from Earhart's plane. Researchers from Penn State have used advanced imaging techniques to reveal hidden letters and numbers on a panel, which could help confirm that Earhart had landed on the island.
