One of my biggest fears is getting caught saying something live on the radio and forgetting to turn my microphone off.
Well a local newsman named Anthony Slaughter pulled double-duty on "Today in St. Louis" yesterday, doing both the traffic and weather report. And he worked up an appetite.
On a hot mic, he was caught saying, quote, "Ohhhhh, I'm so hungry . . . my stomach is so . . . rumbly, rumbly."
