The Doors' would form with keyboardist Ray Manzarek, drummer John Densmore, guitarist Robby Krieger, and singer Jim Morrison, and their debut would be recorded at Sunset Sound Recorders, in Hollywood, California.
The album features their classic hits "Light My Fire," "Break On Through (To the Other Side)," and "The End," and has sold over 13 million copies worldwide, making it the band's best-selling album. Rolling Stone ranked it number 42 on the list of "500 Greatest Albums of All Time", and "Light My Fire" has been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
