Happy Birthday Wes Borland!
Best known as the guitarist of Limp Bizkit, Borland's work is core to the creation and expansion of Nu Metal.
Borland fell into becoming the guitarist for Limp Bizkit, who's popularity came almost overnight, as the band exploded to mainstream success in the late 90s. Helping to lead Bizkit to the top of the Metal mountain, Borland would leave the band to form Big Dumb Face with his brother Scott. This would lead to many side projects including Eat the Day and The Damning Well. He would rejoin Bizkit in 2004, but eventually he'd focus his attentions to Black Light Burns, with whom he has released three albums. Wes has continued to come back to Biskit throughout the 2000's, and eventually released a solo album in 2016.
Recognized for his musical experimentation and visual appearances, Borland's art work and musical influence in undeniable in the lexicon of rock!
