Today The Who Came Back!

In 1981 The Who came back to the rock world by releasing the single "You Better You Bet"!

Following the death of drummer Keith Moon, the band recruited Faces drummer Kenny Jones and recorded the album "Face Dances."

"You Better You Bet" would mark the return of the band who kept on despite the loss of their original bandmate, unlike Led Zeppelin who stopped recording following the death of John Bonham. The song became a hit, as it was the last single by The Who to reach the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100. Pete Townshend wrote the song as a love song for his girlfriend, as Roger Daltrey loved singing it.

"A wonderful, wonderful song. The way the vocal bounces, it always reminds me of Elvis." Daltrey noted, "'You Better You Bet' is still one of my favourite songs of all."
