Happy Birthday Steve Harris!
The founder of Iron Maiden celebrates over 70 years on the planet and over 50 years as a rock God! Harris put the band together in 1975 and is the only member to appear on every album.
The Harris "gallop," is iconic amongst bassists and is the signature sound of the band, of which he writes, arranges, produces and engineers. From "Run to the Hills" to "The Trooper," the sound of Harris had made the band one of the biggest metal bands in rock history, and Harris himself is always listed as one of the greatest bassists of all time.
In 2012, Steve stepped outside the group to release his debut solo album, "British Lion," and followed it with "The Burning," in 2020.
