The Red Hot Chili Peppers bring back a deep cut to celebrate their new tour!
The band re-released the video for "Show Me Your Soul" on their Vevo account, giving old and new fans a look at a classic Chili Peppers line-up in their early days together. The song was part of the soundtrack for the movie "Pretty Woman," starring Julia Roberts & Richard Gere, but later became a B-side to the single "Taste the Pain," and later appeared as the B-side to the 1990 release of "Knock Me Down". Eventually the song was a part of the Peppers greatest hits album "What Hits?" that featured music from the band's first four albums along with "Under The Bridge," off "Blood, Sugar, Sex Magic".
The Chili Peppers hit the road last week, as their Unlimited Love Tour began!
The tour kicked off in Washington, and and headed down to their home state of California, then on to Florida, Ohio, Ontario and more! The title comes from two of their 2022 albums, Unlimited Love and Return of the Dream Canteen, both produced by Rick Rubin.
"When all was said and done, our moody love for each other and the magic of music had gifted us with more songs than we knew what to do with," the band said. "Well we figured it out. Two double albums released back to back. The second of which is easily as meaningful as the first or should that be reversed."
