R.E.M. reunited for the first time since 2007!
Marking their induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, the band delivered “Losing My Religion” with Michael Stipe, Peter Buck, Mike Mills and Bill Berry, completing the original lineup together for the first time since their induction into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
“What a moment at the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Thank you Jason Isbell and so many others over the years.” the band captioned in a post.
The performance was a last-minute decision, as there is no future plans for the group to get back together again,
“It would never be as good.” Buck stated.
Berry left the group in 1997 and the band continued on as a trio till their breakup in 2011.
