Police arrested a man, who broke into a pet store where multiple animals got loose.
In Columbus, Ohio police arrived at a Petland store, and found an open door, where animals were roaming free, including birds, dogs, rabbits, gerbils and ferrets. The officers recovered most of the animals, except for a few hamsters, as they were on the lookout for a homeless man named Matthew Pancake.
Pancake, allegedly broke into a Roosters and a Famous Footwear along the same road. Police found him asleep on a bench, wearing a leopard-print onesie, where they found several hamsters, inside the man’s pants.
The man was treated for injuries sustained breaking into the businesses, and the hamsters are back at the store with the rest of the animals.
