Happy Anniversary U2!!
Today is the 20th anniversary of "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" and the band is celebrating "How To Re-Assemble An Atomic Bomb"! The release is what the band is calling a “shadow album” rather than a re-release or a deluxe, as it features 10 songs that the band recorded around the same time. A good comparison of what that's like is Def Leppard's "Retro Active" that featured songs that didn't make it on to Hysteria, because there were similar songs already picked to go on on.
U2 released ‘Country Mile’ and ‘Picture Of You (X + W)’ were taken from their sessions for ‘How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb’, which did get a remaster for the 20th anniversary edition, which will include the bonus track ‘Fast Cars’.
