Talk about only on the holidays, Judas Priest's Rob Halford and Alice Cooper have combined on an animated Christmas video for My Christmas List by Rock For Children!
Cooper and daughter Calico recruited Slash on a song for the children's album called "Freewheelin'!"
That song also came with an animated music video, as the songs appear on "Solid Rock Revival", a compilation album for Rock for Children, recorded at Cooper's Solid Rock Teen Centers in Phoenix and Mesa, Arizona, and the album features Rob Halford of Judas Priest and Darryl "DMC" McDaniels of Run-DMC.
Cooper might win his first Grammy, and for a Children's Album of all things. Maybe, he's back to being Mr. Niceguy.
"Would it not be the craziest thing for Alice Cooper to get a Grammy for children's music?" Cooper asked. "But I get it. It was unique. It was something that came out of nowhere. And I think that that's what people look for. They go, 'Well, I never thought that that would ever happen, but good.' It would be like if Marilyn Manson won for the same thing. I'm gonna tell him, 'Make a kid's album next. And try not to kill all of them.'"
