Florida's ban on transgender youth athletes will be overturned if some state lawmakers have their way. Democratic State Senator Gary Farmer of Ft. Lauderdale fires off Senate Bill 212 to repeal Florida's ban on trans athletes. Farmer vows to do everything he can to let the transgender community he stands with them. Other state lawmakers have filed legislation to allow nonbinary people to choose a gender-neutral marker reflecting their identities on their driver's license and state ID card. The majority of states already have similar markers.
