One South Florida city is at the center of a story involving the stolen diary of the President's daughter.

Two people have pleaded guilty in a scheme to sell the diary, which media outlets say belonged to Ashley Biden, to conservative watchdog group Project Veritas.

President Joe Biden's daughter was reportedly storing them at a home in Delray Beach, where Aimee Harris was living.

In September of 2020, she stole the diary and other items, including a cellphone and a digital device said to contain Biden family photos, and then contacted fellow defendant Robert Kurlander. He reached out to Project Veritas, which paid both a total of $40,000.

The media company says its news gathering was "ethical and legal" and notes it didn't publish any information from the diary and turned it over to law enforcement.

According to court documents, Harris and Kurlander first attempted to sell the stolen materials to the Trump campaign, but the campaign would not purchase the items and advised them to go to the FBI.
