It's been several days since Secret Service agents shot at someone they say was planning to assassinate former President Trump and the roadway where it happened has just now reopened.

A stretch of Summit Boulevard between Congress Ave. and Kirk Rd. in West Palm Beach was closed immediately after Ryan Routh allegedly pointed a rifle through a chain link fence outside of Trump International Golf Club.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office says this afternoon that the road is now back open.

Routh never got a shot off before a Secret Service agent opened fire and the suspect fled the area, later getting arrested along I-95 in Martin County.
