Lyft has recently partnered with the American Cancer Society for a program called "Road to Recovery". In this program they offer cancer patients free rides to and from their treatments.
This was introduced last fall in Miami and Vegas and now they've announced that they are expanding to more cities!
Patients can call the American Cancer Society helpline to set it up, if they choose not to use the app, and Lyft simply covers the cost.
All they have to do is call a few days before their appointment to schedule a ride. The number is 1-800-227-2345.
