Is Tony Stark Going To Return On The Disney+ Platform?

Premiere Of Columbia Pictures' "Spider-Man: Homecoming" - Arrivals

The internet is a place full of wild stories and speculation, but this particular rumor might cause a little extra buzz in movie and comic fan circles. Fox News (via The Sun & We Got This Covered) is reporting that RDJ himself, Robert Downey Jr., is returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Apparently, the belief is that Downey will be returning as Tony Stark in some kind of A.I. form to guide a new hero: Riri Williams a.k.a. Ironheart. Ironheart is a newer legacy character that debuted in the Marvel Comics source material a few years ago (created by Miles Morales creator, Brian Michael Bendis).

This new adventure would reportedly be seen on Disney's upcoming streaming service, Disney+, which will launch in November.

Is there any weight to this rumor? We have some pretty big doubts. But in the world of pop culture, "never say never" seems to be the way of things.
