As reported by The Hollywood Reporter, DC & Warner Bros. have something pretty special planned for their iconic Caped Crusader's 80th birthday. A global Bat-Signal event will take place on September 21st to celebrate 'Batman Day,' which marks the anniversary of The Dark Knight's debut in the comics.
THR's story has a description of how it'll all go down: "Starting in Melbourne, Australia, before crossing the globe throughout the day — with stops in Tokyo, Berlin, Paris, Barcelona, London, São Paulo, New York, Montreal and Mexico City before ending in Los Angeles — the Bat-Signal will light up the skies, being projected upon buildings in each location at 8 p.m. local time, turning each city, temporarily, into Gotham City in Batman’s honor."
So that's pretty cool! If you happen to see one when it happens, we want to see some pics!
