Shooting guard Dion Waiters has been suspended by the Miami Heat for their season opener against Memphis on Wednesday night for what was described as “conduct detrimental to the team.”Waiters got into a discussion with Heat coach Erik Spoelstra during Friday night’s game, though the Heat did not specifically address what any of the incidents were. Waiters has seemed frustrated that some of his minutes are going to rookie Tyler Herro. Dion then took to the gram and took a shot at Spo saying he too could’ve won if he had LeBron and Wade with him.

New England quarterback Tom Brady has vehemently denied that he was parodying Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s prostitution bust in a promo for the Netflix comedy Living With Yourself.Apparently, show creator Timothy Greenberg included the scene in his script more than four years ago. Brady was allegedly cast for the scene before Kraft’s bust on prostitution charges. When that incident happened, they were nervous that Brady would pull out of the cameo. They thought wrong.

And the Alabama Crimson Tide will be without Tua Tagovailoa for at least one week. Alabama coach Nick Saban released an update on his star quarterback, stating that Tagovailoa won’t play against Arkansas, but a “full and speedy recovery” is anticipated. Tagovailoa suffered a high ankle sprain — the same injury he dealt with in 2018, though this time, it’s the other ankle.
