Boy, did I misread this one. “Who would put a casino on 441 in Hollywood?” That was something I said on the air when they announced the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Shows what I know. Dude, that area was basically hubcap stores and cigarette shops, auto repair joints and dumpy restaurants! Now, I drive by a gigantic, guitar shaped hotel and can’t WAIT to spend a weekend there!
Have you seen it lit up? I was on I-95 and it was visible south of Oakland Park Blvd. Do you think you can see it from space? Regardless, it’s the grand opening weekend, and get ready to be entertained. Do we really ever have to go to Vegas? This place has 200 restaurants, a pool that looks like the Gulf of Mexico, Rock bands, Movie Stars, TV stars, Dancers, Posers and Radio Personalities (I hope I get invited!) Everyone will perform here, and I can’t wait. Hopefully things will slow down so I can hang there…until Superbowl week, when South Florida will be epic!
