Dear fellow Miami Dolphins fans,
What are we supposed to do? We want to win. Why else would you watch sports? It’s been a minute since we won anything that mattered. I had a blast during the Marino years, even the Zach Thomas & Jason Taylor era was fun. Heck, we made the playoffs like crazy. But recently, after Cam Cameron and Adam Gase and all the QB’s too numerous to mention, we have been abysmal. That’s why we are here. We were told that we were going to binge and purge the team, and stockpile draft picks to build for the future. 8 and 8 is where we lived, and that’s not going to get you anywhere, but the middle of the pack. So, we bought into tanking for Tua, then we all watched the LSU Alabama game on Saturday afternoon and added Blow For Joe (Burrow), who looks like the second coming of Marino. Sure, we beat the Jets, we had no problem with that, but then Sunday happened and we went on the road and beat a pretty good Colts team who fully expected to roll over the “hapless” Dolphins, except we weren’t hapless! Coach Flo has done such a good job, that we are a pretty freaking good team. NOW WHAT? It feels good to win, but we know that the Fitzmagic can only last so long and that reality will set in, and we need a franchise QB. We need that number one pick, don’t we? I got used to the fact that we were gonna suck, now I like the taste of winning. What do you wanna do?
