Thanksgiving Sports TV Primer!

While turkey and family and thanks are all major parts of the next 48 hours…Sports has a significant place as well. So let's make sure you have a full preview of what's on Thursday and Friday so you don’t miss anything…and this gives you built in excuses for having to ignore family and watch TV!

Thanksgiving Day:

Obviously, the NFL is the headliner with three games:

-The Bears will visit the Lions at 12:30p (FOX) in a game that has zero relevance to the postseason…great time for meal prepping.

-Then the Bills visit the Cowboys at 4:30p (CBS) for a game full of playoff implications and quite possibly, Jason Garrett's job if the Boys lose.

-Lastly the Saints will visit the lowly Falcons at 8:20p (NBC) in a game that is fitting to be slept through on the couch with a hand down your pants.

Now, if you're not a big NFL fans, no problem, much like your Thanksgiving feast, there are many options on the table for you.

A long SEC rivalry will happen Thanksgiving night as Ole Miss visits Mississippi State at 7:30 (ESPN).

If you like college hoops, ESPN has you covered all day with games from 11a (#5 Maryland v Temple) until 11p (Pepperdine v #14 Arizona) Check which ESPN channel has what, but tons of games.

Black Friday:

Let them shop…You have College Football all day, College Basketball all day, plus, the Heat host the lowly Warriors at 8p (SUN) for some local love.

So there you go…Enjoy the family, food and friends…but don’t forget to give thanks for all the awesome sports as well!
