The reality is, if I became ½ the man I am know, I'd be Steve Rogers before he met Howard Stark. The other reality, I really need, needed, have needed (all the past and present tenses) to lose weight and I'm starting to generally believe it won't happen and that's not acceptable to me.
So, I've decided to make myself insanely accountable to all of you and my workmates by hooking up with the good folks at Quick Weight Loss. As someone that had never gone to a weight loss place prior to this month, I didn’t know much about QWL, but what I did know, was positive. As we all know, they’ve worked with plenty of radio folks down here over the years and I personally have friends who have benefitted greatly, so I knew they would get me there if I followed instructions…So far, so good.
I'm doing the Keto plan and I love the food, that I cook, so that means LOTS OF BACON! You like the sound of that? I sure did and do! They provide me with some supplements & shakes and give me a giant cookbook. I started a 3-day pre-keto on Jan 6th and was on the full Keto program on the 9th. Today is the 27th and by the end of the week, I have a realistic shot of hitting 20 lbs down! So it's definitely working.
Listen, I get it. I've been reading about other people losing weight and yada yada yada for 20+ years too, certainly never thought I'd be the one documenting it every step of the way, but times are strange so what the hell?
So, every week I'm gonna post and give you the official number for what I've lost and hopefully I don't fail miserably at this as I have EVERY OTHER weight loss attempt ever.
