Hilary Duff went ballistic on a guy who was taking pictures at her 7-year-old son's football game in a park on Saturday. Apparently, Hilary just assumed he was paparazzi, because she asked him who he was "with".
He said he was just there practicing his photography, that he wasn't doing anything illegal, and even offered to show her his ID..
She said it was making her uncomfortable, and added, quote, "I'm asking you human to human, as a mother, if you don't know anyone here, can you please stop taking pictures of our children playing football this morning."
But he just kept arguing that he wasn't doing anything wrong.
Hilary took video of their interaction and posted it on Instagram with the caption, "Paparazzi shooting KIDS. Go 'practice' your photography on ADULTS! Creep! Laws need to change! This is stalking minors! Disgusting!"
Not everyone is taking Hilary's side, though. The photographer was black, and some of her followers are suggesting that RACE played a part in her discomfort.
Like one woman who said, quote, "This is so blatantly a race issue! . . . Guarantee if this was a white man she would have handled this completely differently."
The photographer has yet to speak out, so it's not clear if he WAS paparazzi, or if he was just a guy practicing his shooting skills.
