We all know that the 1% get special access and favors due to their vast wealth. But rarely do we get details on what those perks entail…until now!
I recently found info on the special tiers that airlines have to distinguish their customers. These top-level tiers generally require a minimum of $50k spent each calendar year on flights, and trust me, they come with more perks than just the Admirals Club at FLL.
American Airlines has the ConciergeKey. If you're a member, enjoy the personal escort once you arrive at the airport. But the best part is the service you get if a flight gets canceled or postponed. You will be rebooked automatically before any other passenger, so if flights are tight, you're in luck!
Delta 360° is by invite only. They will contact you if you are eligible. This year's welcome gift included a cordless charger and a $200 backpack. The best perk, if you need to make a connection, a Porsche will grab you at your gate and drive you across the tarmac to your connecting flight! Yeah…not too shabby.
United Global Services is the cream of the crop if reviews are to be believed. They allow you to bypass the concourse completely and get delivered to your flight via chauffeured Mercedes on the tarmac. That's right, you never have to go in the airport if you don’t want.
So, there you go, some inspiration to work harder and make more coin! Or, just to hate the 1% a little more! Your call…
