Yesterday The World Health Organization officially classified the COVID-19 coronavirus as a pandemic. The Florida Department of Health announced the first confirmed case of the coronavirus in Miami-Dade County, a passenger at Palm Beach International Airport tested positive, and as of 10am there are seven cases in Broward County.
Meanwhile, Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos Gimenez has ordered the cancellation of all mass gatherings, including the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair and the Miami Open.
