DC held a virtual comic con called FanDome over the weekend, and they unveiled some pretty cool stuff. Like the trailer for "The Batman", starring Robert Pattinson. It looks as gritty as the Christopher Nolan / Christian Bale trilogy. What's even more amazing is director Matt Reeves has said they were only able to film about 25% of the movie before being shut down due to COVID-19 and didn't have much footage to work with. Fan reaction was overwhelmingly positive. "The Batman" hits theaters next October, check out the trailer below:
They also unveiled some footage from James Gunn's new "Suicide Squad", starring Idris Elba, Nathan Fillion, John Cena, Pete Davidson, and, of course, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. It's coming out next August.
They also revealed a first look at The Rock as "Black Adam" coming out December of 2021. And "Wonder Woman 1984", featuring Kristen Wiig as a villain called The Cheetah. The movie is still scheduled for THIS October.
Also revealed: a trailer for the Zack Snyder cut of "Justice League", a trailer for Warner Bros. Games Montreal’s new open-world title "Gotham Knights", Rocksteady Studios revealed its new game, "Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League" with a lengthy trailer, and we got our first look at Barry Allen’s new costume!
Marvel who? It's all about DC right now.
