While Paul Castronovo has proudly proclaimed he's never tasted a McRib (or a Filet-O-Fish for that matter), there's no denying it's a cultural phenomenon.
A sandwich of "seasoned boneless pork slathered in smoky, tangy barbecue sauce, topped with slivered onions and tart pickles," the McRib makes its return to McDonald's menus at select locations around this time every year. This year, for the first time since 2012, it's going nationwide.
They're scheduled to hit all 14,400 McDonald's stores exactly one month from today on December 2, 2020. If you're a McRib virgin planning to try it out this year we have only one piece of advice - lots of napkins.
