How’s Christmas going to be this year? I just read that if you want to see the Tree in Rockefeller Center this year, you will have to have a ticket.
Who knew, that last December, when I took my family to NYC, to see the tree, some shows and generally do Christmas the way it was meant to be done (freezing and spending way too much money) that shortly thereafter, the world would collapse. Frankly, I’m shocked I didn’t catch the ‘Rona while we were there. Elbow to elbow on subways, at Rock Center, in restaurants, cabs, hotels, bars..it was just a sea of people, and I’ll bet not one of them had Purell on them!

A recent study says that men are having a harder time keeping their friendships going during the pandemic because they’re used to more “shoulder to shoulder” interactions. Hmmm, where would men be shoulder to shoulder? Bars! Sporting events! Um, yeah that’s about it, but seriously what else is there for us? It’s true, I really do miss the camaraderie of hoisting a couple while arguing with my buddies about sports. I mean, what a shame, there’s no bars open...anywhere...except Ft. Lauderdale, Miami, Delray, West Palm....
